01 Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide the App's features:

• Account information: When you create an account, we collect your display name and email address.
• Authentication data: If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive a verified email address and display name from those providers. We do not receive your Google or Apple passwords.
• Game data: Poker session data you create in the App (player names, payment handles you enter such as a Venmo username or Zelle phone number, buy-in and cash-out amounts, game titles, timestamps).
• Subscription and purchase data: If you purchase a subscription or one-time upgrade, RevenueCat (our payment processor) handles the transaction and shares your subscription status with us. We do not store your payment card information.
• Device information: Basic device identifiers may be collected by third-party services (Firebase, RevenueCat) for analytics and fraud prevention purposes, as described in their respective privacy policies.

Payment handles often identify people other than you. You are responsible for the information you enter about other players, and you should only record a handle for someone who has given you permission to do so.

02 How We Use Your Information

• To create and authenticate your account.
• To sync your game data across your devices.
• To process in-app purchases and manage your subscription status.
• To send email verification messages and password reset emails.
• To respond to your support requests.
• To display the payment handles you enter so that players can settle up directly with one another. Cash Cage does not share payment handles with payment providers on its own. If you tap a payment link, the App opens that provider's app or website with the recipient's handle and amount filled in, at which point the handle is handed to that provider.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

03 Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services that may collect and process data under their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase (authentication, cloud database, cloud functions) — Firebase Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat (in-app purchase management) — RevenueCat Privacy Policy
• Google Sign-In — governed by Google's Privacy Policy
• Sign in with Apple — governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
• Payment providers (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal) — only when you tap a payment link, which opens their app or website with the recipient's handle and amount prefilled. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy policies.

04 Data Storage and Security

Your account and game data are stored in Google Cloud (Firebase Firestore) with industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to your account only, enforced by Firestore security rules.

Game data is also stored locally on your device using encrypted device storage. Local data is not accessible to other apps on your device.

05 Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, all of your data (account information and game history) is permanently deleted from our servers within a reasonable period. This deletion is irreversible.

06 Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the App: go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deleting your account permanently removes all associated data from our servers. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

07 Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

08 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below or use the in-app account deletion feature.

09 Real Money Disclaimer

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
